Tiếng ViệtGet the app

Delete your account

You can delete your account and its data at any time, right in the app.

  • Cancel your subscription separately

Delete your account in the app

  1. Open the app and go to Profile.
  2. In the Account section, tap Delete account.
  3. Read the confirmation and tap Delete.

You need an internet connection. If your sign-in has expired, sign in again first. A guest account can’t sign in again: if you have a guest account, or you can’t sign in, ask us by email instead, as described under “No longer have the app?” below. If you never signed in, bought or restored a subscription, you have no account and nothing about your learning is on our server: use Reset all data in Profile to clear your phone.

What gets deleted

  • Your account on our server and all its data: settings, saved words, review schedule, session history, transcripts and AI feedback, AI request records, feedback reports and sign-in tokens.
  • All learning data on your phone. Lesson content stays so you can keep using the app without an account.
  • Database backups are deleted after 30 days, so your data can remain in a backup until then.

What we keep

A pseudonymous record of subscription events (event IDs, types and times, linked only to a random account ID, with no name or email), which we need for accounting.

Apple and RevenueCat keep their own records of purchases, linked to your account ID, under their own retention settings. Deleting your account removes the data on our server.

Cancel your subscription separately

Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store subscription. Cancel it separately in your Apple ID settings, at least 24 hours before the current period ends, so you aren’t charged again.

No longer have the app?

Email TODO-support@example.com from the address you signed in with (or tell us the email Apple shared, if you used Sign in with Apple) and ask us to delete your account and its data. If you used Sign in with Apple, also remove the app under Sign in with Apple in your Apple ID settings: only deleting in the app can do that for you.

A guest account (created when you bought or restored a subscription without signing in) has no email, so we can’t look it up that way. While you still have the app, delete the account in Profile before removing the app. Otherwise, email us anyway: if you bought a subscription, include the order ID from Apple’s receipt email and we’ll try to find it. A restore that found no purchase leaves no order ID, so we may not be able to find that account.
